Golden hour at night

Join us where we will be travelling to the dark skies of Quialigo NSW. At this location Michael, Alan and Pete will walk through an in-depth instruction and guidance workshop that will teach you how to find your way around in the dark to find the best composition, what exposures to use for night photography and how to focus in the dark.

We will teach you how to capture the Majestic Milky Way, how to shoot star trails, image stacking and long exposures. Included will be step by step instructions on how to create depth with the use of fine art light painting and to create visual and original nightscape images.

When it comes to astrophotography as pre described in our course content, we'll always endeavour to describe & explain the concepts and techniques we discuss as carefully and clearly as we can.

Our courses are primarily aimed at DSLR/Mirrorless users and are designed to be as friendly and accessible as possible. We'll assume that you know the basics of operating your own camera — such as how to change the exposure by shutter speed or f stop, sensitivity settings and adjust the focus of the lens.

Transport will be provided to and from the workshop leaving from Canberra.

Cost $220.00 per person

This workshop runs approx 5 hours

Group sizes limited to 6 people to give you all the best photography experience and plenty of one on one time. Come along, have a laugh and make some friends.
